A sad story: Raymond Davis
Last modified on 2012-02-25 21:49:05 GMT. 0 comments. Top.
Preface: I’m aware that the details on this are shady. I’m aware that some people would disagree with or be unhappy with this post. That said, this is my freedom of speech at play here, I’m just pontificating on a news story. I’m doing it in a safe place, with these freedoms, because Raymond Davis and many more like him do things in worse places. The man isn’t perfect, he did have a goof or two, but can we please cut this man some slack and show him mercy? God knows he’s earned it. That’s just my 2 cents, I could be wrong. You can read articles on what I’m about to talk about here if you so fancy. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/10/04/raymond-davis-cia-contrac_n_994756.html and here http://nation.com.pk/pakistan-news-newspaper-daily-english-online/Politics/17-Dec-2011/Rambo-ordered-to-stand-trial
Start:
Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction. We’re all used to movies where we follow a protagonist that’s an undercover spy/special operative type. They flex on the laws, they do bad things to worse people, and we’re on the edge of our seats for these stories. Afterward, we talk about how cool they are, and how glad we are that such people exist, willing to do this on our behalf so that others may live their lives. But.. for many, the thoughts end here.
I remember a few months back, seeing something on TV, this guy:
If my memory serves me correctly, initial media reports said that he was a “Truck driver” that was caught in Pakistan. The story was garbled on what our sometimes allies/sometimes enemies the Pakistanis were accusing him of doing. I took a look at this guy and started to wonder. Hmm.. truck driver.. A guy that stuck out like a sore thumb around the Pakistan men in the video. More details started coming out. He was accused of getting in a car chase after shooting two men in Pakistan. He did some time in an Army Special Forces unit earlier in his life, he was a “Green Beanie” (Green Beret). Then became a “contractor for the government”. Most believe this is codename for: Working for an “Alphabet soup agency”. I’ll let your imagination run on this one, but in short, to answer the question on your head without saying too much: Yeah, he “probably” was one of “those guys”, and I sincerely doubt you’ll be able to get someone to confirm nor deny the work he may or may not have done for the United States or his own purposes.
So what was he apparently caught doing? Well, apparently the Pakistanis said he had photos of military bases (where certain facilities housing certain weapon systems of interest to us should the government have issues: read- nukes), as well as Taliban hide outs. He had a GPS with coordinates of areas that were hit by drone attacks, killing Taliban fighters. Worthy of mention: Apparently when Davis was locked up, the drone attacks stopped for a while. Meet your “cloak and daggers man”. Obviousness says that when Pakistani intelligence elements found out about him, they were most displeased. In the middle of traffic one day, 2 men on a motorbike pulled up next to his car. When the guy on the back started to pull out a gun, Davis took action. After dispatching the 2 crooked agents, he tried to flee the scene and was captured. Apparently a Land Cruiser Prado jumped a divider and drove into oncoming traffic toward his direction. It was filled with 4 other men. These men (Who were supposedly living with Davis), left the country after the incident. Truth Bomb: They were “contractors” too. In that house they found weapons, passports, money, cell phones, you name it.
The defense department/the government did not leave this guy high and dry. We got him back at great cost to the taxpayer, by shady means, and got him out of the Pakistan show-trial BS they would have put him through. While I’ve railed on the government and the administration in the past privately: Good on you guys for bringing this guy home. Thank you.
Now during this story, brain dead bloggers were calling this guy a mercenary. This is because he’s a contractor. Firms like Blackwater or other contractors are railed on by bloggers who barely understand what they do, don’t know who comprise their personnel rosters- and they believe an Al Jazeera propagandized version of the truth of their actions. They think these guys, often former soldiers, are part of some Dick Cheney led conspiracy where they just go around killing innocent people for fun, apparently. Go ahead and read the comments on places like “Huff and Puff” calling him a monster, a loose cannon, all that. I’m sure in their version of the truth, when a guy on a scooter pulls up next to you with a Mac-10 ready to shoot you up for the secret work you’re doing of the US Government to save the lives of American citizens and troops alike), you’ll just be able to “Talk your away out of it like an adult”, negotiate, or be able to produce your PETA membership card to get out of it. Or, you’ll sit there and get ventilated because words are useless in situations like that. Better yet? In their version of the truth, despite his long and illustrious career in high stress situations and elite military units, he up and just decided to break a mindset marked by decades of discipline, and up and shoot 2 Pakistanis for no reason whatsoever- perhaps while out getting lattes on his vacation. To quote David from the David goes to the dentist video, “is this real life?!” I have an idea: perhaps these nitwits are so unstable themselves, they cut and paste their own lack of discipline onto others, how about that.
Davis came home to the United States. Despite the fact that he would be applauded by most movie audiences as a rescued hero if his story was on a screen- a soldier with a long resume of putting foot to ass for our country on every team he was placed, he likely came home to silence. He likely came home to silence, and a happy family. Most combat arms types will say, “really, the best medicine for that kind of stuff is family, and a quiet life for a little while.” Now some ask: What do these guys do when they come back to the world? It’s kinda hard to go from being one of the baddest dudes on the planet to flipping burgers or selling cars. He’s been a door-kicker since he was a young man. He’s had his entire lifetime up to here honing that skillset. The transition is going to be a little tough. His career doing “other work for the United States government in capacity he cannot talk about” is now over. Apparently he’s a shooting instructor in Washington DC. Makes sense, he’s been doing stuff like that for decades, well enough to earn assignments in some pretty tough areas, doing very stressful work. Pretty comforting to know that he’s turning around and training others we trust to do similar work.
Well, this guy’s bad luck continues. One day, some guy pulls into a parking spot he was waiting for. From there the story gets muddy.
Here’s what I think happened: This little D-bag is that Benny guy from The Mummy. I sincerely doubt this is the first time he’s cut a line of some kind. In fact I’m willing to make the OH SO GIGANTIC LEAP and say he’s likely got a shitty attitude, very used to taking advantage of our “polite” society. (It takes practice to become a jackass like this guy.) After cutting into the guys’ spot, perhaps Davis is in a mood, and makes the stupid mistake of getting out of his car. He walks over to tell the guy off. An independent witness says Davis was calm. Benny’s wife *of course* states he was a frothing at the mouth maniac. Benny gets out and starts swinging at Davis. Davis defends himself, and delivers the “It’s over, buddy” line, and smacks the little twerp, once. Not even a satisfying hit. Benny slams into the ground, gash on his head, alleged damage to his spine. Benny’s fuming. Police are called. Benny and his wife paint the story of our CIA-hulk ripping him out of the car and beating him up (despite the fact that he’s still vertical). Davis tells his version of the story, witnesses tell theirs. Now here’s an interesting tidbit: These “professional soldiers” are often not great articulators. They’ve spent their time keeping physically fit and working on their skillset, which often doesn’t include creative writing, public speaking, etc. I wouldn’t be surprised if he garbled his own story. Here’s another fun one: details are often hard to remember under stress. Experience under stress helps with recalling the facts… say the kind of stress front line infantry fighters endure. Surely Benny, our pencil pusher that can’t even drive like a decent human being, didn’t get creative on what happened? No..
Now Davis and Benny go to court. The media flies all over this because Davis was in the news before this in another shit-sandwich incident on the other side of the world. Benny’s lawyer said this: “This is an important case, Larry Klayman said, because a private citizen deserves the right to go to Einstein (Bros. Bagels) in peace, not to be beaten up by someone who frankly has a predisposition to violence. This man has a history of violent acts. He killed two people in Pakistan. He was indicted for murder.” With all due respect Mr. Klayman, I don’t think you know what violence is, and this gross mischaracterization of Davis, is disgusting. Davis is not an angel, but what he is, was a veteran, and a man that’s spent the best years of his life kicking down doors on our behalf. If you could show respect, or at least pretend to have some dignity, that’s be great.
Here are some things to chew on:
1) If Davis was really hulk-rage mad at the spot-taking weasel, I don’t think that little twerp would be vertical. Remember that scene in the movie Taken where our protagonist threatens “the bad guys” with his skill-set? That’s what Davis is capable of, he’s the real deal. I don’t think Davis had full fledged attacked him, if he did, the handiwork would make even Batman say, “Nice.” Want me to say it? Here we go: This guy professionally killed people for a living. Benny’s still breathing. End thesis. You don’t think he could have separated this little twerp into 10 pieces if he wanted to?
2) How did Benny get out of his car. I sincerely doubt Davis pulled him through the window after, I believe, calmly calling him an asshole. I think Benny got out and tried to get tough. Even if he was “defending himself”, why didn’t he try to run, call for help, etc from a guy like Davis? After all, Davis was very violent, angry, and terrifying? You would expect the story, if Benny was such a victim- to be that he was yelling for help loudly? Know what? Sounds like he wanted a fight, and perhaps Davis obliged.
3) Lets not play peekaboo with the truth here. Everyone knows the kind of person that cuts in line, takes spots, and spouts awful excuses like “I don’t want to wait for that parking spot, I have a family”. That excuse sounds like that “It’s okay for me to break the law, I have a daughter and she’s sick, I’m not a bad person” stuff that Sandman character was spewing in the Spiderman film. What’s next? He’s got the kind of ego that says he’s willing to get out of his car and swing at someone who is significantly bigger and stronger than he is, and sue for losing the fight? Oh…
Benny learned a hard lesson in manners that day, and he’s butt hurt enough to try to take down a war veteran through the legal system.
4) Davis has bad luck. The guy was in a no win situation in Pakistan. I won’t even say he was sloppy, he wasn’t. We get all the time in the world to Monday morning Quarterback the events that happened that day. He had a sum total of a fraction of a second to determine if he was going to take bullets to the chest, or act. He chose life, and some aren’t happy about that. He got sloppy and his cover was blown, or our “ally” Pakistanis with ISI members on Taliban Payroll tried to kill him, and he was stuck trying to save his own life. He also beat up some douchebag in a parking lot when he got home. Perfect? No, that was a screw up. But cut the guy some friggin slack here! He spent a lot of time in an active warzone with people trying to kill him. After all Chris Brown can be welcomed back into the music industry after beating the tar out of Rhianna for no fuckin reason at all. I think the “putting foot to ass for our country in war time” reason is a good one for shooting people in self defense in Pakistan- if that isn’t I don’t know what is. I don’t think doing that makes someone an unstable monster.
5) Seriously? Our society is okay with Chris Brown, who beat the **** out of his woman. See it’s okay because he’s a good singer. Charlie Sheen is a drug addict and a womanizer. But it’s okay because he’s “funny and charming” (in public). Michael Vick was a dog fighter, but he said sorry and seemed to mean it, even served jail time, and he can even throw a ball well. Forgiven. But Raymond Davis? Green Beret, secret agent, – toss him to the wolves, or say horrible things about literally leaving him to die in Pakistan. All because of an incident with a twerp in a parking lot, and an assassination attempt on his life in Pakistan while on assignment for the US of A.
6) Benny was probably the kind of guy that most people would say, “oh that guy has it coming.” Well guess what, life chose a former Green Beret for that cause. People who didn’t lose sleep over that last night: Me.
Can’t say I’m happy with how this story was portrayed, how this guy has been portrayed, and how some have reacted to it. People say that there are two sides to the story- in this case, it looks like my opinion is the second.

Andrew Breitbart passed away yesterday
Last modified on 2012-03-24 19:54:26 GMT. 1 comment. Top.
“Who is he?”
A newsman that recently passed away unfortunately. He had heart problems and was in and out of the hospital with them, he died at 43 leaving behind a wife and family. Pretty sad in my opinion.
He assisted Matt Drudge with the Drudge Report, as well as Arianna Huffington in the creation of HuffPo. (Not joking, look it up.) He was raised by two very liberal parents, which is interesting considering his own political leanings and stances. After working in the media, he sincerely believed there was a left-wing slant to the reporting, and more or less became an activist, often times (self admittedly) trolling the left.
What I remember him best for:
Here he is, in his shining moment, a moment of redemption right before Weiner announced his resignation. Here’s how it went down (worth the watch).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msUZHBTZVtk
Commenatary on “Weinergate”:
In his speech he called out:
Gawker – (Who regularly posts inflammatory and false statements about Fox News personnel for one.)
DailyKos
Salon.com and its editor at large
MediaMatters (Check out the articles on them from the DailyCaller. If the documents aren’t completely made up, then essentially they occasionally write newscasts for MSNBC, HuffPo, the LA times, and George Sargent of WaPo. They also organize boycotts of conservative figures they don’t like. /Attacking sponsors as a way of soft censorship = free speech amirite?)
All of whom, he states, tried to destroy him and protect the firemouthed congressman sharing their political leanings. Now here’s what’s rattling around my head…
All of those outlets declared open season on Breitbart insinuated the following, and you hear it in the press conference video:
-This was a non story
-Only Breitbart considered this a news story
-Weiner’s computer was hacked
Among a list of other excuses. By what metrics is that a non story?!
That makes me want to make a list of my own!
The list of Non stories here:
-A sitting congressman posts a lewd picture, publicly, on ****ing twitter. That’s about as public as it gets on the internetz.
-Said sitting congressman intended to send this privately to a young girl (that is not his pregnant wife.)
-Said sitting congressman then insinuates that his computer was hacked by a public figure to obtain information.
-He did not go to the Police, and repeatedly stated he would not. This is apparently not bizarre or cause for question.
-Several media outlets all sharing the same slant declare open season on a News-guy who had the gall to report it, seeking to completely discredit him.
-Eventually the congressman holds a news conference in which he confesses to a series of events that corroborates News-guy’s story, and resigns.
-The media outlets that declared open season on him? Their motives were never questioned, no apologies made.
What’s kind of sad, is the fact that even in death he’s still the victim of demagoguery.
Now giving the guy the benefit of the doubt, he does appear to be from the UK, he’s likely trusted someone else’s assessments.
Now excuse me while I express my own opinion, in the form of my “Advice-Toby-Meme”.
In Conclusion: The eccentric Breitbart will be missed. A little bit “out there”, but always honest. It was kind of refreshing, and deeply amusing to see the guy at work.

Trayvon Martin, a tragedy and a media mess

Politics
The parents of a Florida boy are experiencing something that frightens most who have children: the prospect of burying their child. This is a case that’s gone very public. I’ve watched my Facebook blow up with people loudly proclaiming Zimmerman, the shooter of Trayvon, to be a murderer. Using the Facebook posts and insinuations by talking heads, let me piece together what the initial truth looked like:
Zimmerman (heavyset white racist redneck) saw Trayvon Martin, puppyfaced honor roll student, walking down the street with skittles in his hand. He called 9-11 on this kid, for no reason, because people do this. The 9-11 dispatcher said, “no don’t do anything, police are en route.” Zimmerman walks over to Trayvon Martin and shoots him dead. The police win the “Officer Barbrady” award for saying, “nothing to do here”

Information comes out about Zimmerman that seems to paint him as a loose cannon. Pictures of Trayvon as an 11year old are shown. The media jumps on this. Obama made a speech as he did with that “The uhhhh, Cambridge police acted stupidly” situation. I saw things on my Facebook showcasing Michael Vick vs Zimmerman, more or less implying Michael Vick went to jail for being black.
Because as we all know, Michael Vick must have been wrongly convicted, nor did he actually do anything wrong. He only more or less ran a dog fighting ring at his house. We also know for a fact that Zimmerman is a murderer. Zimmerman’s trial is unnecessary, because only un-uniformed Al Queda terrorists caught on a battlefield shooting at American soldiers overseas in a warzone should get the benefit of a trial.
Well, more details have come out, including from witnesses actually at the scene.
-Witnesses say that the screaming heard on the 9-11 tape is from Zimmerman, who was being beat up by Martin.
-Zimmerman was apparently walking back to his SUV when he was attacked by Trayvon Martin, who pursued him and tackled him. Trayvon “Slimm” Martin (as labeled on his Facebook page) struck Zimmerman in the face, and slammed his head into the sidewalk, leaving him bloodied and battered- according to law enforcement.
“I could observe his back appeared to be wet and was covered in grass, as if he had been laying on his back on the ground,” the officer wrote. “Zimmerman was also bleeding from the nose and back of his head.”
-Zimmerman was more or less a “Self appointed” neighborhood watchman, in his gated community where there were a string of recent robberies. People in the community were on the look out for suspicious individuals.
-Zimmerman had never seen Trayvon Martin, who was walking through the gated community after hours with a hood over his face.
More on our “racist” Zimmerman:
-Zimmerman is a registered Democrat (looks like he can’t be a racist Republican/TeaPartier)
-Turns out he tutors young underprivileged black children on weekends, on his own time. This must be because he’s SO racist he’s trying to avoid looking racist.
-Zimmerman is in fact hispanic. For those who were assured only caucasian whites were capable of racism, this complicates things.
-Zimmerman does have a diverse group of friends in terms of their ethnic make up.
Here’s what else has occurred:
-The Black Panther Party has put a bounty on the head of Zimmerman, dead or alive. This is illegal and outrageous.
-Spike Lee tweeted the address of Zimmerman, it may not have anything to do with the above mentioned point. Turns out it wasn’t Zimmerman’s address. I hope the homeowners (Who turn out to be an older couple), are able to lawyer up and protect themselves.
-People are blaming this on “Florida’s shoot to kill law”. Note: They have not looked at how this law has affected crime (pro or con), they have not talked about whether or not it’s the will of the Floridians. Instead, those who will often tell you proudly that their political ideology is the one of empiricism, science, “reason”, understanding, open-mindedness, hugs and unicorns, et al – are now saying this law is the problem given the overwhelming evidence of this singular event, one in which they apparently are 100% sure of what has occurred.
-The media and outraged TV watchers have demanded for the resignations in the local Police. We do not know if in fact the officers that handled this are in fact the best (or worst) officers in the entire nation. Technically speaking, they could be among the best officers in the entire state. We do not know this. However, given media reports of an incident that has not yet gone to trial, this is sufficient to ask for resignations.
-Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are publicly doing whatever it is that they do.
-Sabrina Fulton (Trayvon’s mother) is seeking marks for the phrases “I Am Trayvon” and “Justice for Trayvon,” according to filings made last week with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In both instances, Fulton is seeking the trademarks for use on “Digital materials, namely, CDs and DVDs featuring Trayvon Martin,” and other products. http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/trayvon-martin-trademarks-769123
-I’m leaving out “details” on Trayvon Martin’s school record, but apparently there are things in it that make people question the honor-student-angel narrative.
Here’s my take, given the “evidence” we have now, in this case that has not yet been tried.
-Zimmerman should not have pursued Martin. He should have let it go. Martin’s problem was being in the wrong place at the wrong time in the wrong garment. Those things are not crimes. It’s a tragedy that he’s dead now. But it’s too late for that. For a great % of this encounter, he did nothing wrong, and Zimmerman, in retrospect, was being stupid. That night should have ended with two people scratching their heads, one guy feeling like an idiot for being jumpy, the other enjoying his skittles.
- Trayvon Martin was not shot for being black. Trayvon “Slimm” Martin was shot because he, apparently, assaulted Zimmerman. He should not have tackled Zimmerman while he was heading back for his car. He should not have repeatedly struck him despite Zimmerman’s shouting for him to stop. He should not have slammed Zimmerman’s head into the ground. Zimmerman shot him, in what most other scenarios that wouldn’t even get local media attention. “Person A beating the daylights out of Person B, Person B shoots them after having their head slammed into the ground” is a “Good shoot” in most states (And by most states I mean 40+).
-The media needs to disengage their “Ralph Nader Crusader” mode. Some are blaming this on Florida’s stand your ground law. Even if this turns out to be a murder (after this case actually goes to court), this law would not apply. See, driving a car at 65MPH is legal, when doing so on a highway in a lawful manner. Driving a car off the road at 65MPH into a crowd of pedestrians is murder. Instead of doing actual research on this law and seeing if has curbed crime in the state, instead of actually asking the question, “maybe people shouldn’t have to flee criminals who would do them ill will”, the media has blamed this “crazy law” for what had occurred. That’s absurd, a knee jerk reactionary judgement made on next to no evidence, based on a case that has not even gone to trial yet. Laws like these exist all over the nation, and it has not turned the nation into the wild west. The talking heads need to stay in their lane on this one. Intellectuals love to state that “people are stupid in groups”- those calling for draconian gun restrictions in the face of what may, for all we know, be a legitimate self defense shooting, is a case study in this.
-On the race related conversation some want to have: If your religious beliefs include ‘political correctness’, you won’t like this. Apparently even a cursory look at statistics shows that Black on Black violence rates and Black on White violence rates are staggeringly higher than White on Black violence. My belief is: all of this violent crime is a problem! - regardless of what that person’s race is. When a violent crime victim does not return home to friends and family, it is a tragedy no matter what their race is, no matter what their job is, no matter what their religious beliefs or sexual orientation is. I don’t think the most important conversation here is one race on another’s violence, it’s violence as a whole.

Trayvon 2 – The media strikes back!

Politics
The s**tstorm continues! More details have come out on the case:
-Over one week since the Black Panthers offered a bounty on an American citizen publicly, the Department of Justice has not responded.
-Zimmerman fired only 1 round during the encounter, hitting Martin in the chest.
-The gun did not actually cycle the round. The Keltec PF-9 pistol does not do this when functioning normally. It seems very likely that something obstructed the slide from cycling to cause this. As most shooting instructors will tell you, this phenomenon can and does occur during a physical altercation when a victim or police officer is attempting to use a firearm while being physically assaulted.
-Martin had powderburns on his body consistent with a “contact” shot, where the muzzle discharged in VERY close proximity to the body.
-Save for the gunshot wound, there was no other wound on Martin, where Zimmerman had several wounds and lacerations.
-At least one witness was able to perfectly recall what the two men were wearing that night, and stated the Trayvon Martin was on top of Zimmerman striking him when the shot took place.
-Zimmerman was not pursuing Martin, he was apparently trying to get a bearing on Martin’s location to direct the proper authorities to him.
Media attacks the rebel base on hoth reality
- For one they are now shifting the debate to “gun control” (Also known as: Laws that affect law abiding citizens who do not commit murders with illegally obtained weapons, while having little to no effect on criminals who do not follow laws, under the platitude “it helps”).
-Hank “Guam-Tipper” Johnson is back on TV.
-The media, that now has egg on its face for the hasty rush to judgement, has pulled a trump card out! There is a grainy video tape showing that Zimmerman is in fact not bleeding from the nose! (When he is brought into the Police station after having been treated by EMTs at the scene earlier).
Now I have a few questions on my mind, don’t Google these, ask yourself these questions right now with what you know:
1) Don’t police wait until EMTs have treated people at the scene before booking them, due to blood contaminant concerns?
2) Wasn’t Zimmerman so treated at the scene by EMTs, so if his face looked like a bloody mess in the video tape it means the EMTs either screwed up?
3) Do all broken noses bleed? Can the experts in the media state this with CERTAINTY? Isn’t it a fact that many broken noses are discovered to be so the day after the event has occurred?
4) “Zimmerman seems to be walking fine”, question: When pumped up with adrenalin don’t people often report not feeling injuries to their full extent? Does not a fight ending with a shooting sound like something that would get one’s adrenalin going?
5) Exactly how much time passed between the booking video and the incident in question? Would this have given Zimmerman time to simmer down or heal enough to walk without looking like a Jimmy from South Park?
I smell a whole lot of “wait.. I’m not sure” answers to some of those questions. No matter, it hasn’t stopped the “socially aware” from galavanting off onto Facebook armed with a renewed sense of outrage . See they would have you believe that their “overwhelming evidence” of a few seconds of grainy video tape and a very shallow knowledge of first-responder procedure and injury appearances – is more than sufficient for them to substitute their version of the truth in place of actual eyewitness accounts present at the scene, including police officers who have likely seen similar injuries during their service.
A thought:
This meme that Zimmerman was a vigilante that “Took the law into his own hands” is disgusting. See in about 48 states in the union you’re allowed to carry a gun to defend yourself, I would call the right to defend yourself a basic human right. We’ve been able to do this since we were cavemen, (as opposed to the entitlements that some believe are “basic human rights”). Some say that “Even if Trayvon ‘Slimm’ Martin was in fact ground and pounding Zimmerman with fists, this isn’t a good enough reason to shoot him”.
I ask this: If Zimmerman was a smaller statured woman, would you say the same thing? I’d venture to say no. Believe it or not, people can AND DO die from being struck in the head with a fist or having their head bounced on pavement, especially if this is being done repeatedly. Some victims of similar beatings (if they survived of course) have dealt with awful migraines for decades. Tell me, how is this functionally different from receiving a survivable knife wound?
“Well what kind of message does this case send if he isn’t guilty!” That if someone is on top of you beating the daylights out of you, you must:
1) Be a semi pro MMAer and respond with hand to hand combat to make it “fair”, assuming your assailant is not physically superior, and that your ability to defend yourself is compromised as you’re dizzy due to say, having your head bounced on pavement or being suddenly struck in the face.
2) Determine whether or not your assailant is “just a kid” or an “honor student” during the encounter. It will not lessen their blows, but it will earn you pseudo-morality points, if you survive. These pseudo-morality points that are not redeemable by you or your family members to get your life or motor functions back.
3) If you cannot “fight fair” when you fight back versus your single or multiple assailants, you simply take the beating and hope that you aren’t permanently hurt, raped, killed, or left to die at the scene.
4) You must assume they do not intend to do anything other than savagely beat you, if they do* attempt/succeed in something worse than this, “oh well.” Your injury or death is actually preferable to the act of you defending yourself, it has a higher pseudo-morality point value.
5) Pray your rhetorical skills convince your assailant(s) to “see the error of his/her ways” and stop.
6) Cry and beg until police arrive, whenever that is.
Sound’s like OSHA for violent criminals right?
Speculation and prediction: I think the media State of Florida will charge Zimmerman and make him go to trial to appease the angry mob (who is looting candy stores (that’s a crime FYI) and doing other childish things in “protest”), and then find Zimmerman innocent to the outrage of the mob due to lack of evidence that this was a murder, and overwhelming incidents + actual eyewitness testimony that shows otherwise. It will be witch hunt that ends up being a waste of tax payer dollars to appease a mob. The media will be outraged, as will Sharpton, as will some netizens.

Trayvon 3: Return of the Blogger

In this episode of media madness….
First off let me state Joe Oliver gets this year’s award for “greatest friend of all time”. Watch it, especially around 3:30ish.
My personal take is that you’re looking at a man that’s conflicted, and helpless to stop what’s going on. He understands the anger, but, I believe, knows what they’re angry at isn’t so.
-Unfortunately Oliver stepped into the liberal-media-narrative-echo-chamber in progress.
MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell called his genuineness into question in harsh terms. If you’d like to see more on the “Joe the plumber” treatment he’s been getting, and seeing scrutiny no left leaning activist would ever see from them, read here, or go to Youtube.com and type in “Joe Oliver”. Read the titles and the captions, it’ll tell the story.
-Reuters is indecisive on what Zimmerman’s race is (Fox news’s fault, for sure.)
-An MSNBC host melts down when Piers Morgan of CNN takes him to task. (Good on Piers!)
Note: Toure is the same “race-baiter” who insinuated the tea party was racially motivated, and was going to start perpetrating violence. He said this after watching a video that MSNBC cropped of a man carrying a rifle at a protest, a man that was in fact African American.
-Stereotypes continued: Hoody wearing honor students kill 1, wound 5 in Chicago, in Bobby Rush (Democrat) s district. Bobby Rush, (former Black Panther) is the guy who showed up to Congress wearing a hoody to “make a statement” the other day:

In fact 13 people were shot in Chicago. Given the fact that Illinois has banned concealed carry weapons by law abiding citizens, it was not possible for one of these shootings to have been carried out by another “Zimmerman”. (If something like this did happen somewhere in the US, now the media has “proof” that guns and self defense laws are the “debil”, and this whole thing would flare up again, as the mastersofscience/mastersofempiricism/experts/totallyobjectivetruthfinders in the media go apes**t with their cherry picked narrative. )
See, clearly more stringent gun laws would have saved those people! Even though Chicago has some of the “toughest” (for law abiding citizens) gun laws in the country…
Well maybe we should make murder illegal to prevent this from happening in the future!
Wait… I think it’s already illegal… I’ll get back to you after research.
-Roseanne Barr tweeted Zimmerman’s address.
-Spike Lee apologized for his tweet. Elderly couple still getting death threats.
-CNN brings in “Experts” to analyze the tape, in which they conclude Trayvon was the one screaming on the tape. I do not believe said experts have ever heard Zimmerman or Trayvon speak none the less scream, nor where they present at the scene that night. I’m also pretty sure they have
-NBC doctored/edited the 9-11 tape, and must have been “by accident”. They’re “investigating” it now.
In the NBC segment, Zimmerman says: “This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black.”
In a fuller version of the tape he says: ““This guy looks like he’s up to no good, or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.” 911 operator: “Okay. And this guy, is he white, black, or Hispanic?” Zimmerman: “He looks black.”
-ABC’s grainy video tape, showing a Zimmerman that “doesn’t look that hurt” (which means of course Trayvon could not have been assaulting Zimmerman, regardless of the amount of witnesses police paperwork etc had stated) is debunked. How? A high resolution videotape comes out.
I’d only watch about a minute of it, after that it’s MSNBC doing its usual herp and derp.
More tape here: http://www.wagist.com/2012/dan-linehan/new-videos-show-zimmermans-gashed-head-and-broken-face
In technical terms, “his nose looks f**ked.”
-Joe Biden opened his mouth again: “It’s important that people be put in a position where their Second Amendment rights are protected, but that they also don’t, as a consequence of the laws, unintendedly put themselves in harm’s way … The idea that there’s this overwhelming additional security in the ownership and carrying concealed and deadly weapons… I think it’s the premise, not the constitutional right, but the premise that it makes people safer is one that I’m not so sure of.”
Apparently he also wants a debate on bill of rights “gun control”. Hopefully this is a debate in which both sides are allowed to participate.

Trayvon Prequel 1

This is the Trayvon Prequel series, aptly named because this is what should have happened BEFORE people went nuts over all this. (The actual trial procedure.) Before I mention the court happenings, ABC obtained a photograph of George Zimmerman’s head taken minutes after the incident.
Looks like the whole “maybe the EMTs cleaned him up at the scene, because it’s their damn job?” thing I threw out there wasn’t an elaborate conspiracy-theory-hard-to-believe idea after all? I also love the media throw away line “raises new questions-” No it doesn’t. It corroborates the stories of the actual witnesses present at the scene that night, and all the relevant police paperwork taken that night. A self defense shooting in which a man acted stupidly, then someone else* acted stupidly and proceeded to assault him violently. Zimmerman eventually fires (once) his carry piece, and ends the situation.
The trial’s procedures are starting now, as most of you reading this know. Here’s the take from Alan Dershowitz, Harvard law professor. His expertise on this is greater than mine. (We do know of a famous “Constitutional law professor” who was educated at Harvard with what appears to be a very poor handle on the Constitution. There is a chance Alan is wrong.)
